English Walnut - suppliers? Gun stocks

Has anyone got any contacts or recomendations for suppliers of English Walnut?

I occasionally have need of air dried planks. Working on old flintlocks, these can be upto 50" long and 2.5-3" thick - no sapwood. Commercial stock tends to be pre cut lengths for shotguns which are too short and too thin.

Just need a few names to put on the file.

Many thanks

Jon

Cleared out a retiring gun stock maker last year and there were a couple of semi roughed out blanks of walnut. 3" thick but not 50" guess there about 36-40" long. Probably 30+ years old so very dry. Would these be any good to you? Not much use to me coz of shape, I'd waste most of it. so would happily part with. If your at all interested let me know and ill post pics and sizes to see if suitable. There not as dark as most walnut, he told me exactly what they were, but can't remember, couldn't be certain there English as there were a lot of tropicals in what I took from him.
