You should give some more information Charlie, right now the first thing i am thinking is ' how good are you?' and 'what can you do?' i dont live in either of these 2 places but i am an employer. First impressions are lasting, do you have tickets, what are they? How experienced are you? Do you drive, smoke, work well in a team. Sell yourself mate and good luck:thumbup1:

yeh might help if i could spell it!! oopps. Was mainly just seeing if anyone on here had worked over there and could point me in the right direction. But my experience to date is 5 yrs as a climber, hold cs 30 cs 31 cs 38/39, Nd in Forestry/arboriculture, Technichian certificate in arboriculture...

Check arbjobs, there are some on there. Also, tradmasarna are hiring I think, but you do need to be competent, its mainly deadwooding large oaks ALL DAY, and felling pines. And it gets fricking cold in winter so be prepared.

 

That sounds alright, where abouts are these tradmasarna folk you speak of?

I'm not looking to leave the UK right now, but will be wanting to move to Norway next summer, as I'm kinda from there. Know no tree people there though, so will take notes from this thread ;)
