Public liability and professional indemnity cover recommendations

Was Just wondering what level of cover one should have for public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

 

I know you have at least £1million cover but what would you consider a better level of cover?

no bigger company is going to touch you if you only have 1 million. you need 5 million minimum...probably 10 million for some companies

This so true, I had 2M for years, but about 4 years ago I started getting asked if I had 5M all the time, so upped mine, its been 5M ever since.

Koz hiscox only go up to 2mill for indemnity

I'm qualified to carry out inspections and surveys in a consulting capacity.

 

So I need Indemnity insurance for if I make a wrong decision.
