Greenmech 512 Chipper Problem

Hi guys, first post here and after help already:001_smile:Ive spoken to Pete B off this forum this week who was very helpful to get me this far.

Im part of a conservation trust/fishery and we are financially self supported. We have bought the above chipper to help us keep our land tidy. After visiting our local Greenmech guy he gave us the bad news that our shaft is bent on the big rotor wheel(with the cutting blades on).Today we have stripped it down and removed it from the machine and taken off the front and back bearings. It does look like the shaft is slightly warped.

My questions

*does the big rotor wheel come off the shaft or is all this bought as one peice?

*I notice there is a silver collar with a retaining pin running through it, and the shaft. This is worn but we cant see how its got like that as the bearing surely takes the weight when in situ

*If we have to buy a new rotor wheel is there a possibility of a second hand one?

If its a new one how much and were from?

Cheers guys.
