Just posting this to acknowledge a job well done by Rob Wells (Riggerbear)

The tree was a decayed black poplar that needed dismantling in a tight spot. A few other firms had declined to do the job because of the poor condition of the tree.

With the help of Rob's skills and experience we were able to quote and win the job.

The pictures speak for themselves.

Can highly recommend Rob's services. Very capable and efficient climber. Friendly and hard working.

As you can see it was a big tree with very little sound wood keeping it upright.

It moved in a particularly unnatural way, just a gentle sway when i moved about.

Rob Wells has done three jobs with me in recent months. Firstly to take down an Oak tree in a garden, which created a lovely space for the customer (She's delighted with it), then to pollared a Larch and finally to pollard 5 trees at the rear of a property in my village. Rob is a top guy to work with, he's a very skilful and experienced climber. He also gets stuck in on the ground once the climbing has finished. He works hard. If anyone is looking for a subbie grounds man or 2nd climber in South Wales then get in contact with Liam Kealy, above.

I've recently done a couple of days climbing for him and I can't recommended him enough.

Kept the ground clear below the tree, made sure my rope was always clear of any snags and run the ropes well when we lowered any bits.

A good guy to know and use.
