Appeal for chippings!

I would like to appeal to all tree workers established tree surgeons/ businesses in the battle or east sussex area. I am a trained climber/rigging treeworker and have branched into( excuse the pun) forest school education for kids etc with the help of some very talented people. I have a suitable site for their educational purposes but i need a little help from the community of tree care businesses in east sussex.

I am hopefully looking at taking chippings to cover some of our hard standing as it is not suitable for kids to walk over due to the broken bricks and obscure manner in which it has been dumped. Long logs(sticks ) up to 4mtrs in length or even logs( big or small) would also be acceptable ( i have a splitter available) to fuel the little ones fire building experiences.

I can offer cups of tea upon arrival if wanted, I expect that i will need around 3-400 tons to cover a large area of around a 1000sq mtrs(guestimate!)with further chippings needed for topup if anyone wants to offload here at a later date.

I would greatly appreciate this if you can help, contact me via pm for details.

regards

Col
