Any guesses?

Recommended Posts

Hi all

I picked this up for firewood last night. The owner said it was an "Alagnis", but a bit of googling doesn't find anything even similar. It was a multi stemmed tree / bush, about 4m tall and similarly wide (I guess - I only saw it chopped down). It was spiky, and growing in a back garden if that makes any difference!

Any thoughts? Thank you.
