Defender 110 Tipper Pump + Ram Specs ?

Started this thread this morning -

Im going to source the parts I need from the company mentioned above.

 

Im a bit lost on the spec needed.....

 

I DO know ill need a 12v pump, there are a few listed though.

 

Same goes for the ram, not sure on what stroke length ill need?

 

single / double acting.. Not sure what this means :lol:

 

Ideally I just wanted to have all the bits ready (minus the pipework) so when I take the truck to welder chap he can just get on with it. The buck Is complete and ready to fit so he is simply making up the subframe and attaching said pump and ram.

if you have your new body ready to go on i would offer it up and work out how much you want it to tip to find out how long the ram needs to extend then you can just get in contact with flowfit and say i need the 12v tipper unit with a ....ton single acting ram with a stroke of ....mm with all the hoses and connectors needed. really all you need to work out is how far you want it to extend.
