Anybody Interested in G-Wagens??

I've always liked them Mark. My favourite tail about them was the Argentinians took a lot of brand new ones to The Falklands which the UK forces then acquired and started using. After the conflict, Mercedes Benz apparently wrote to the UK government requested payment for them. The gov replied as they were war booty they would not be paying so MB took a huff and said they would not supply any spares parts then!!

I currently own 3 no, "G" Wagens, not Argy ones mind.

I really really really need to put the 290GD van back on the road, sigh.

Thought you would be along soon Difflock. Any pictures of the van - I know they are rare but I think it would be a nice alternative to a LR 110.
