WARNING – THEIVES IN EAST SUSSEX – STOLEN EQUIPMENT MIGHT BEEN OFFERED TO YOU.

On the evening of 21st/22nd March our lock up was broken into and all our equipment was taken. The Police have revealed that several business, including another Arborists, have been targeted within this area recently. The perpetrators are thought to be scoping out rural based businesses, so incidents are well planned and executed. They cut through a lot of the fencing on the farm so they could access the unit via a disused railway track without using any main entrance. The unit lock was cut offf with an angle grinder and the handbrake cable on the van was cut so they could roll out the van and remove all the equipment behind it. They took the Chipper and huge metal tough boxes, they must have had their own lifting equipment. We believe there were 2 vans involved.

Please be aware that these people have carried out similar attacks in East Sussex repeatedly over the last couple of weeks.

Attached is a list of the equipment with serial numbers that was taken. Obviously there are a huge amount of items that don’t have a serial number. If you are offered, or you come across anything listed, or anything suspicious at all, please contact us, or Sussex Police.

Thank you for your support.
