Have the R2 or R3 version in my workshop. Its great with sawdust, chips and small offcuts but less so with logs. On my second as they do rust out around the flue connection. When my current one dies I will be looking for alternatives with thicker steel.

Thanks woodworks, a neighbour is thinking of getting one for their workshop, but I think they plan to run it on logs only. Wonder why it doesn't burn logs so well?

Had one of the smaller ones, 8kw but I cant remember the model no. I have burned logs, woodshavings and sawdust with no problems. I now have a hole in it near the flue exit so I am buying one of the square ones of ebay. The relax stoves are quite thin and its fairly easy to get them glowing red. I melted the front piece of the two part cast iron grid so just used it with one.

The square stoves on ebay are thicker metal and made in the UK and the company have sold hundreds. Its a bit cheaper to buy them direct from their own website though

I know the owner of 'Teknic Stoves' and have for many years. The stoves are well made as this guy also makes HGV inspection pits amongst other things, so he's a thorough and experienced fabricator. He also happens to be a nice bloke, and as stated, it's all made in Hereford, not a scrap of Chinese funk to be seen!

I know the margins are good on these stoves for him, so it might be worth trying to organise a collective price if a number of members all wanted to buy. That way you'd all get a bit off, and he'd have a new sales channel.

Single skinned leftovers. One bits enameled and another is SS. Don't think HETAS would be very impressed

I'm looking at one of these for my next workshop stove as they are made of 3mm plate. Don't know how well they work though 12 Kilowatt wood burning workshops stove

Pal of mine has one of these in his Workshop and is very pleased with it, takes a fair sized log I believe.

Think his is 20 odd kW
