Unimog....what do I need to know?

Complicated only agri tax class if used for agriculture.

It's what some get away with. But unless it's proper forestry work it's a minefield. Try searching this forum with the search facility. It has been covered a lot.

Many seem to of got rid of their unimog a as well.

A good bit of kit if you have profitable work for it. Otherwise expensive to keep.

Hi folks, so what's the score with mogs?

What licence do u need to drive one?

Mot?

Tax?

Gvw?

Is it a way round the 3500kg gvw issue?

 

been runing a unimog for 12 years now costs for servicing repairs about on average £5000 a year does about 12 miles per gallon cabs rot so have a good look underneath have tap round with a small hammer i would also get a good mog mecanic to go with you when you start looking for one law is quite clear on what work you can and can not do under agricultrel use free tax no mot veicle must be kept in a road worthy condition so keep service records any bills for new parts hope this helps good luck
