Arb traineeship at Wisley Garden, Surrey

The Royal Horticultural Society are currently advertising their training courses for next year.

 

At Wisley Garden in Surrey, they offer a 1 year paid Arboriculture course that runs from September to September.

 

The advert online is orientated towards horticulture as the RHS run other courses and it also mentions estate management, there is actually very little of this. A very small amount of hedgetrimming and log splitting, the rest is all tree work. We have excellent tree climbing and other equipment and you have the potential to gain more qualifications and further your knowledge.

 

Pre-requisite qualifications are CS 30, 31 & 38 (39 desirable)

UK Driving licence is essential

An Arboriculture and/or Horticulture Level 2

Some industry work experience would be desirable.

 

Accomodation is also provided for the year.
