Hmmmm why does mine look way different?

Also its when you shove the lever all the way forwards when its on full throttle, so when throttle arm goes to the front (controls) of the machine that you get full throttle.

This has been bodged by previous owner and struggling with it!

Also the cable and handle redwood has sent me has a red handle and a 4 bolt fixing.

On the machine it is a 3 bolt fixing.. so suspect the older one with a black knob.

2004 machine

Hoping i can just fit the cable and get away with it!

The cable on mine was pretty long, more than I thought it needed. It runs all the way over to the left of pic, by the air filter/pipe and then to the front again to the pump. Your pump looks like its 90* counter clockwise to mine so maybe the cable will come in at the right direction. Is that a metal bar attached in your pic.
