Ive caved in... wanted one for many years and after visiting a local pen maker last week I cleared some space in the shed for one.

How much would i need to spend to get something reasonable?

Space is a little tight also so a compact machine, would like to have a go at making bowls, pens etc.

Got so many nice bits of wood laying about im itching to have a go.

I've a spare lathe or two you are welcome to (FREE!) if you can collect.

I've got 4 in my workshop that I use and these others are taking up space.

Good working order with extra drive centres and faceplates.

Wow.. wasnt expecting a reply like that

I would like to take you up on your kind offer, are you in a rush for the space? Might not be able to get over to you for a couple of weeks, flat out with work.

Top man!
