Stump Grinder for bamboo?

We cut an area of bamboo down 2 years ago and have been treating the area with glyphosate and mechanical cutting to kill off the plants, we now have the rough stumps of the bamboo left. the area is bounded on one side by brick paving and on the other by a rubber soft play surface. Would a standard stump grinder grind down the bamboo, or any other suggestions would be welcome. Area is enclosed with pedestrian access only.
