Husqvarna 576 vs 390

Hello,

 

I have a Jonsered cs2165 which is approx equivalent to the Husqvarna 365 , it runs a 18-20 inch bar nicely. I'm wanting a saw to run a 24-28 inch bar, I really like the 576 but the 390 is only a few quid more, I know its a heavier saw with more power, I think the 576 would be a handier saw to use but I feel the 390 is more "bang for your buck" so to speak.

 

What's your thoughts??

My thoughts were , when you still could get a 385 , that the 576 was pointless as it weighed almost the same as a 385 but with less power . A 390 is almost the same as a 385 but with slightly less aggressive porting . I would go with the 390 ....just me .

+1, bigger saw, more versatility, it'll run bigger bars with ease

May I just add, I have a Husqvarna 3120xp (never used as yet) so I maybe though the 390 was to similar. I was wanting something between the 365 and the 3120. Thanks for your input so far.

Looking forward to hear what others think.

I don't even like looking at my 3120 let alone pick it up L.O.L. . I have the full compliment juast coz I can . 346, 560, 372, 390, 395, 3120 .

The 390 would be the in-between. Though a ported 365 will pull a 28" no problem.

see if you can get a jonny 2188 from across the pond, if not 390xp

390xp tried and true, I love mine, and once the warranty has run out, I will have spud run his hands all over it and make it magic like stubby's!

Get a stihl 441, runs a 25" with ease and so light when your using it above ground. Also much lower Vibes than the husky
