I think so, have had a couple of them mk 1-2 they are relatively waterproof but I think just make a easy to use and light weight jacket you can wear in summer or build up layers and still move at winter and will keep you dry.

The Pfanner ones are ok but mine have never been well made and not waterproof.

Had a Stein jacket, but it lost its waterproofing on first wash. Fine to keep the breeze off and light showers. Since then I've found various outdoor stores have jackets almost completely identical, sold for rock climbing or cycling. Usually cheaper than the Stein ones too.

They dry quick, but have two, so swap out the damp one at lunchtime. Dry by the next morning.

Iv used a stihl hi-flex jacket for about 6 years now and I have to say it's very durable, I ripped or once but that was my folt, it isn't waterproof so that's somthing to think about and it is abit hot for this time of year, but who wears a jacket at the moment anyway, I couldn't recommend it enough, slightly expensive but doesn't matter if it lasts you 6 years, I might replace it with a pfanner stretch air one next if I can bring myself to spend the money.
