Bringing this old girl down to near the main fork today due to sudden loss of vigor and bark falling off. We know that the neighbours hate this tree. Does anyone else think the dead foliage is most likely poisoning?? There is also a strip of necrotic bark facing the neighbours that leads to the dead laterals. Any views???1378114606159.jpg.91de5091b7e84428bdd4fac0a1cffc2b.jpg

Had exactly the same recently with a willow ( bark detached first followed now by crown dying off) but that is in the middle of a private estate so poisoning unlikely. Might be best to not jump to conclusions straight away, although arsey neighbours are well worth suspecting. :001_smile:

chorophyll flouresence test it. There is now a blue print/finger print for the way the graphs line up for glyphosate poisoning amongst others.
