I suspect many have seen, or made, these.

I used one yesterday while fixing my landrover out in the cold.

Really good sourche of localised heat.

 

Maybe make and sell a few of these for patio party heaters.

You can make a stove by drilling a large hole in the end to a depth of about 12" & then drill in from the side to meet it. You can try to hollow out a cavity where they meet to help it get started.

 

Light some kindling in the side hole & keep the fire going. After a while it will not need any kindling to keep it going. Works similar to a rocket stove.
