you knows its been a long week when...
You drive 25 miles to a job and get out and the groundy says " wheres the chipper?" ha ha i say, get out and theres no chipper!
frantic call to the wife and luckly its still sat outside the lock up waiting to be hooked up! still cant belive i drove that far without no realising it was there! lucky she blocked it in with her car and waited till i got back, a bit red faced

Sorry that is rather funny. Maybe it's time for a holiday?
I did have a similar moment once with **** where is the tipping trailer? Turns out like you i had loaded it and just forgot to hitch it up. |

Never forgotten to hitch anything up but have forgotten to take the brake off or lift the jockey wheel up. Amazing how much burnt rubber smoke a jockey wheel gives off at 50 mph.

About an hour ago a lady comes into the shop after having driven about 10 miles specially.
She wanted her mower serviced, and asked me to lift it out of her car. She opened the boot to find it empty. "oh dear I forgot to lift it in!" She said "its been a long week"

After a long, hard days work I forgot about the chipper when turning around at the end of the road. Remembered a split second before I heard the bang and watched the chipper topple over.

We've been doing a lot of this lately since I got a big shipping container. Now everything is stored differently, we keep forgetting something.
Helmets one day, ground saw another. Haven't forgotten the chipper, yet 😃. |

Lads forgot a pole saw was in the back of the mog and threw in timber, ouch!
Lads placed new pole saw, behind mog, I reversed, ouch, lad buys me a new pole saw! Left 3 saws at a job once, I went in my XR 2, thought it was a bit roomy when I got home. Left mobile phone, wallet and folder on back of tailgate, drove to work, found bits n bobs all the way home and someone handed in my wallet , phew! Misplace keys hourly, if not minutely! Only 36, getting on 76!
