Looking for around 1 tonne of wood , Milton Keyes area .

I am looking for around a tonne of wood . I'm not to bothered what it is as it all burns once dry :-)

Any local arbs able to help out ? I am able

To collect as have a small trailer and a Landy which I can fill .

Minimum 5 ton load and cannot be delivered to roadside.

 

One ton of fresh hardwood will cut into maybe 2 cube, that in a 5kw stove will last 2 months burning most nights and weekends. Maybe you might be better looking at the parks trust and at their 5 ton loads

it also reads you can pick it up, £40 a ton. it can be deliverd but cant be placed on the road is what it meens.. it has to be somewere were the tractor driver can crain it into you garden basicaly. it is very good value.

Thanks guys . I have looked at parks trust before but they won't deliver to us :-( but I didn't know you could collect . So will get in touch and see how that works out. Need to find a local tree surgeon who is willing to flog a days worth

Of wood from a job if I can't get any from PT
