What an amazing talent....another addition to the super group in the sky...R.I.P. John Lord who died today aged 71

"Trees are sanctuaries. Whoever knows how to speak to them, whoever knows how to listen to them, can learn the truth. They do not preach learning and precepts, they preach undeterred by particulars, the ancient law of life."

Sad to hear about Jon Lord's death. A real rock legend. Took from us far too soon, along with the other rock deaths of Gary Moore and Ronnie James Dio (one of the best).

You can tell you are getting old when your music idols of a misspent youth start thinning out - Deep Purple, Richie Blackmoors Rainbow, Ian Gillan Band Whitesnake - quite a legacy from just one band!
