I started watching half way through. Was the tree in a conservation area or was it TPO'd ? It was in a back garden and was not very visible from the road, so if it was TPO'd I'd be surprised!

 

The T/O should have been brave enough to recommend a fell and re-plant. Poor thing should be put down. :sad:

Its not surprising to me , round here tpo's come in many varieties. single tree, groups, woods, boundary only or blanket. Front or back gardens no diffreence. What is strange is the patchwork quilt effect where some properties are covered to the max and next door a beautiful tree is ignored.

the TO said that because of the variety of the tree that it had a tpo on it.......couldnt belive it when the TO refered to the hack artist as a tree surgeon when they knew he had been standing on a ladder.surely the TO would know better......if someone "in the know" would say something like that then how are we meant to convey a positive image to the public?
