we've all done them chaps,interested in your best stories.wether you underpriced,did a favour,dropped a bo***ck,or just had fun working for nowt! i drove 92 miles to chelmsford to pollard a very large willow on the pretence of a round of golf and afters with two nice ladies,did the tree,still waiting for recompense!

A chap walked into my yard and told me he was a wood turner asked me for some wood. well he gave me such a sob story about he had no money and could not pay. so i said he could have a couple of oak burrs and some yew and he said when he picked it up he would bring some wine and beer.deal i said. the day came and he arived in a brand new 4x4 pick-up i loaded the wood and he said he did not have the drink, then he had the cheek to ask for some more.:blushing:
