well work seems to be coming thick and fast. hence all the questions on arbtalk. ( still in my first of being self employed) anyways.....

 

i have been to have look at an oak tree this afternoon. dead oak tree.....

 

would you climb this ???/

 

if not i would think i would have to hire a landrover cherry picker however it will start to get expensive and i wonder if my local hire company will let me hire one even tho im only 19

Judging purely by the pics (if i was actually been asked to go up i would want to see it first hand before making the decision) I would go up that, i have been up worse looking oaks than that, amazing how they hold together sometimes.

 

Even the straight fellings i do that look like a gust of wind will take down.....they sometimes hang on till the very last few mm.

 

Out of interest, why do they need it climbing, it looks droppable from the pics.
