Whilst bimbling around the net, stumbled across this site selling ex-MOD vehicles, including 4x4's; trucks; flatbeds; tractors etc. Looks like a few bargains, so if you're thinking about getting a new vehicle, might be worth a look!

I'm liking the look of the Reynolds Boughton: RB 44 Truck Cab Pickup R.H.D, and thinking it would make an excellent conversion project into an Arb vehicle.

I used to buy and sell used Landrovers direct from the MOD, stopped when they went out to tender and not auction. There are some nice buys out there and can be good fun looking. If they ever go back to auction I’d highly recommend giving it a go.

Alot of vert nice kit check out the boughton winch MONSTER seems a good price for condition wish i have a few K looking for a pocket line i would be there asap

They do some auctions but at a guess I'd say they perhaps auction the stuff they don't feel able to sell at a fixed price?

 

There's a 4x4 Bedford MJ on there at the moment, only 17,000 kilometres on the clock allegedly and bidding is about £2000.

 

Alternatively, there's an APC - which might also be useful for in the snow!!
