Meindl boots leaking

So my month old Meindl airstreams had their first outing in the rain today. After two hours I was squelching around with absolutely soaking feet. Not really what I was hoping for...

Anyone else had this problem? I haven't treated them with any wax or dubbing, but then I never treated my Haix with anything and they were totally waterproof until the soles fell off.

Pretty unimpressed tbh. At least they're red, I guess :001_rolleyes:

Yeah I've had haix for years, and loved them but it seemed like the recent batch of soles were a bit rubbish and fancied a change. Got the meindls from HB so I'd be pretty surprised if they were fakes...

Just wanted to know if mine were the odd ones out, which it seems like they are, so I'll see about sending them back. Shame really because all of my handbags go so well with them.
