Did you put the propshaft back in the same position? If not, it may be unbalanced now

 

Not much choice I recall since the bearing is mounted to the chassis with two bolts that allow about 10mm left/right position so aimed for dead centre. I think it only really manifests in 1st gear as that is when the vehicle is travelling slowly; once up to speed the vibes are gone. This makes me think the prop is doing a wobbler when turning slowly and under high torque i.e. low gear and when towing. The effect is almost non-existent when unladen etc.

Sorry, I didn't explain myself very well :blushing:. I meant when you bolted the u/j flange back on, did the holes line up with the same holes they were originally bolted to? In other words, as you look at the rotation of the joint, did everything go back at the same position of the clock? :001_smile:

Yeah marked everything up to avoid that one!!! inc the prop to the flange at the diff end
