There seems to be loads of wasps this year . today I managed to disturbe one I was really lucky they did not all come out at once I was able to get away just in time .

I was working up a steep slope doing some cutting. I knelt down for a second then I saw a couple of wasps bussing round me then I saw 10 and realized I was pritty much on top of a nest in the ground . I managed to get away just in time lucky they were to angry as I may well of been had by them.

I am off to get the deadly can of Fome .. I have seen so many this year in the smallest and easy to step on places .I think I will keep a couple of the deadly cans of fome in my van for safe keeping .

I got stung on the hand about a month ago and it swelled like a football . Apparently the thing to do is take piriton immediately. Not the clarytyn hayfever ones but the cheap and chearful piriton or own brand. My sting itched for days:willy:

Yer piriton stopped me from going into anaphylaxis a few years ago, after being stung several times!

I had been stung before and since and not had the same reaction but that time it just seemed to really affect my system so is something to definitely look out for chaps!
