Stihl combi unit

I have been offered a Sthil KM 85 R Engine unit, Hedge cutter, strimmer, pole saw and extension. it is 2 years old and has had little use, maybe been used 30 times, it looks in very good condition. my mate wants £ 500 for the lot, does this seem about right?. And no. it aint stolen.:thumbup1:

The KM85R is a 2007 model, 395 plus vat in the 2007 catalogue.

 

The rest is 450 ish without vat at 2007 prices, so quite a bit more now.

 

If he was vat registered and got a trade discount of 20% when he bought it then he's doing well to sell it at 500 now, but you would be getting a bargain too though I think.

Cheers Rupe, he aint VAT reg. my strimmer broke on friday, and my long hedge cutters are on the way out so it seems like a good deal.

No worries man, I couldnt really afford to shell out £500 at the moment anyway, Had a good weeks work cancelled last week, So i have to rain it in for a couple of weeks :001_smile:

I cant really to be honest but i have loads of hedges to do and i have a days strimming every friday so needs must. bit of a bummer about the work being cancelled. hope you get it back mate.:001_smile:
