Jesus, I was suprised it didnt jam up to be honest!!

When i was at tilhill they did a similar thing on a training day, Put a pair of hiflex on a pine log, went into them with a husky, think it was a 357 or similar size, i cant really remember the model and it cut 2 to 3 inch into the log before it stopped,

Trousers are not designed to stop a saw at full revs!

especially if trousers are tight

as they clog the saw rather than cut proof

also work better if cutting up or down leg rather than straight across

liked how he took his hand off to put his visor down:laugh1:

I've hit my legs twice with a saw over the years.

First time it stopped it, husky 242 I think (was 12+ years ago)

Second time sort of stopped it but pants spun around and nicked the side of my thigh. 020 wearing type A's thats why it cut, spun pants around to where there was no protection.

Woulda been a lot worse if I was wearing jeans though :scared1:

Type C was recommended back then:sneaky2:

What happens though as soon as it hits you instinctively let go of the throttle and it stops straight away.
