Stolen Vehicle (Derbyshire)

TRADITIONAL LOGGERS

I had a call this afternoon to inform me the 4x4 Unimog/Truck had been stolen from the site in Matlock area of Derbyshire. Staffordshire Police found it beside the A515 with the engine still running and have recovered to a safe place.

Vehicle was waiting to be moved abroad to where we are now.

Securities bollards and gates smashed with the vehicle.

Time these B******S were removed from the land of the living instead of sending them to prison and wasting monies which could go to the health and education services.

Hope some DNA will turn up.

Vehicle was marked to help with tracing. No idea on condition until tomorrow.

Sympathise with you there mate. Know how you feel having had land rover engines, wheeled generator, front end of a MF tractor removed, Ifor Williams trailer etc etc all stolen in last couple of years:angry: The police aren't interested in even coming out. I have an idea who's involved as well so looking forward to spreading his DNA around a wide area:sneaky2:

Hope the Mogs still in good order and they're caught. Its time the police, courts etc take this seriously and law and order is restored. However don't hold your breath - the laws are only effective against law abiding citizens:001_rolleyes:

SOC what a joke

My truck body was recovered from a gypsie camp, they had sand blasted it to remove the signwriting. From 10ft away you could still read the company name and our phone number.

SOC guys said no way to find owners and it was scrap. its over 4K to have built!

took the recovery firm man not 5 minutes and 2 phone calls to find me.

So i wouldnt hold your breath.

sometimes i wonder if there isnt a greater conspiracy going on. the gov gets a massive amount or revenue via tax.

manufactures make a large profit on sales , especially spare parts.

the Victim gets nothing but an increase in premiums for years for been a victim!

Rob a post office or such for the same value and you get plenty of time in jail.

they say crime doesnt pay. i disagree it pays damn well, secret is not to get caught then it pays very well indeed.

im just too stupid to be a good criminal
