Hedge laying

Can someone please advise me? We have a very overgrown beech hedge about 20ft. tall and 100 yards long. We live in Cardiganshire and have been given a quote to lay the hedge. One quote is for "Cardi" style and the other was for "Pembrokeshire" style. Could someone tell me if these are genuine styles of hedge laying? If so, where could I find some images to look at online?

Thank you,

Thank you,

I haven't personally heard of either style mentioned but you do find a lot of regional variations. This link shows the most common styles. The national association of hedge layers might be able to give you more of an insight. They also have a very informative website.

Hope this helps Chris.
