Looks great if you're only going be cutting pipe or planks, but one of the main benefits of the stanly workmate format bench is that its also a table - the vice function is secondary. I have two, a real workmate and a €15 Lidl clone, I use them a lot. Cant see myself using this gadget though....

Ive got two elu superjaws had them years and served me well bought them to make a load of batten doors for a barn conversion they had enough clamping force to do the same job as sash clamps but twice as quick. At first the folding up procedure can confuse some people but once you've done it a couple of times its only a few seconds job.

You could always get the mrs to buy you one for christmas
