I went today, didnt buy much (which is a plus) but looked at nice shiny axes and stuff, and carving knives and other pointy cutty things. If you're taking the ladies along theres the usual crafty stuff to amuse them, and a selection of foods, from the usual burgers to hog roasts and tater stalls. If you arent driving have a beer from St Peters brewery (very nice ale). One of the countries decent chainsaw carvers is there too, Tim Atkins, showing his skills, and Traditional Oak Carpentry honing beams from logs with a variety of axes. This still isnt a large event, but is gradually expanding.
