Fencing price query

Heya, just a quickie really. My mum is currently in the process of going halves with her neighbour on a fence, which is situated on the boundary.

It's approx 8 foot high, 7 meters long, 6 posts. All wood.

She's been quoted £1330 for the work..

 

Seems a bit steep to me? Digging looks okay...

That's getting near to £200/metre. Way to expensive.

Have you got it right as in 8ft high?

 

I wondered about that as you need planning for anything over 6' 6" round here. A paling fence that high seems a bit odd they are usually double sided hit and miss to obscure but let some light through.
