evening all, i recently won a box of slightly rusty augers and wondered if anyone had tips on the best way to clean them up.

they are big buggars and am not sure how to tackle them.

all have 24" of twist and range from 5/8" up to 2" diameter.

any help appreciated.

also does anyone know where to buy augers this size?

Don't use an abrasive, you'll alter the size. Try Paul Sellers Blog or Youtube channel, I'm pretty sure he had a blog post or video about restoring Auger bits. If I can find it I'll post the link.

Here you go, you'll need to register, some of the content is viewable only if you have paid membership but this one is free.
