morning guys,

i need a new hedge cutter attachment for my 130r and i remember something coming up on here saying that you can use a cheaper copy and just cut a little bit off the drive shaft.

thought it was something like this: Handy UNIVERSAL Articulating Hedge Cutter Attachment 0-90 Degree Angle RRP£64.9 | eBay

if anyone could point me in the right direction that would be great! :thumbup1:

thanks

If the Ryobi and handy shaft fit stihl then that doesn't say much for the stihl. I have a little handy machine but it feels like the shaft is twisting when using the chainsaw attachment. It has survived though to be fair but the stihl multi tool engine must produce more power so would stress it more.

Do you not get problems with such a small driveshaft?

They're 1 inch shaft on the stihls have been for years (I dont remember when they weren't). Issues I've had with kombi heads are not due to the shaft being weak.
