Found these sprouting outside a place I used to work whilst popping in to say hi and catch up...

 

Just wondering what they are?

Appear to look like fingers slowly pushing up through the soil and slightly hairy....

Also the two pics show the one on the right change in size over an hour or so...

The fag but at the bottom was just lying around so I used it for scale...
