You grafted two year old wood onto them? Can't say I've heard of that before. Guess it's worked though as fruit on them is going to help them sell. £8 sounds cheap, I want more than that.

Sorry mate , I must have confused you.

Wood is taken from two year old trees on M27 , which flower freely.

They are cut back for bush and we use the leads ,which is how we get fruit.

Never heard of that trick, I am going to have to try it.

I grow them for planting myself rather than selling them. I make a lot of apple juice.

 

edit: in fact I make a lot of bloody good apple juice. Current holder of best juice in show trophy at Bath and West. :)

Sorry for blowing my own trumpet there but what's the point of having a trumpet if you don't blow it. :D
