Turdis for yard- Portaloo costs?

Does anyone have a site toilet that is hired in and serviced by a contractor?

There's no toilet in the yard and workshop I'm setting up at the moment, and so I'm wondering about costs and pitfalls. I've never hired one in for a site, so I've no idea how often they get pumped out, or what the like CPT (cost per turd) is likely to be.

I've been in a compost bog yard before, but I'm not too keen on the idea of Ratty burrowing around in the compost bins :001_huh:

Maybe it's best to buy a unit?

I haven't hired one for a while but it was about £25/week including weekly servicing plus delivery.

£400 buys a theford cassette toilet, runs off 12 Volt, uses Elsan fluid, flushes and you take the cassette out and dump contents down a foul sewer. We have them in welfare units and they seem relatively easy to clean, I confess never having used one for a dump but no worse than a site loo.
