fitness

Today was my first day climbing in college for cs38,39 training and although my pace up on a normal prussik was okay i feel it could have been a little better as i had to keep stopping for breaks :001_smile:

Then came the one that really told me that i need to start doing some fitness training a speed climb up a 20+ meter black pine to which i made it about halfway up and had to come back down because i felt dizzy and sore :blushing:

Anybody have any training tips that could help me improve or should i just keep climbing and eventually i will get fitter ?

Thanks Darragh

Climbing is the best way, I weighed in a 16 and a half stone when I started my level 2 at college, I climbed every chance I got, gaps between lessons and weekends, nothing better... 4 yrs later and now 13 stone and I'm now starting the 100 pushup challenge (didn't see me doing that when I started)
