Stihl MS441

Have owned my trusty MS441 since they came out but I have one problem with it, when I am cross cutting and the saw gets trapped, (happens to us all!) and I try to pull it out the saw revs up. I know whats happening the throttle cable pulls and in turn the saw revs. Just wanted to know if someone has had this happen as well and can I adjust the cable to stop this happening?????

I spoke to the stihl technicians about this at one of the shows last year. They did explain it to me...can't recall the ins and outs, but its nothing to worry about

The flexing of the chassis on the AV mounts causes the cable to tighten thus giving the impression the throttle has been deployed.

ur supposed to turn of your saw when u get it trapped anyway so whats the problem?

I agree, just make sure I keep the chain break on when I pull the saw out and does not rev that high, glad its not just me!!!

True but cant always do that, trick is not to get it stuck in the first place
