Old Mill Tree Care

I was invited to quote for a tree removal recently.

Picture the scene:

Two Crack Willows, about 60ft tall leaning severly.

Ten feet from them there are power lines, under the leaning side.

Client says they started leaning after a storm and its been getting worse, hence the 50degrees lean angle today.

Both of the trunks have massive hazard beams in them.

I look at it and think easy days work from a MEWP.

Client then tells me that a few years ago he thought he'd have a go himself. When he cut the first branch off he was thrown off the ladder breaking his pelvis, both legs and suffered a brain injury. Now has a speach impediment and hasn't been able to work since!

He then baulks when I mention the MEWP and laughs when i mention my price. amazing. :laugh1:
