How long does pallet wrap last in the sun?

Had problems this year with driving rain blowing into the bottom of our IBC crates of logs (they have lids). Was considering wrapping the bottom half of the crates with pallet wrap when the autumn monsoon commences. Wondering if this will work and if the pallet wrap will last say 4 months before UV breaks it down.

The pallet wrap may last, however the more you use the greater the moisture build up will be, or at least it should be due to lack of air flow.

Agreed if I put it on when the logs are wet but most of our wood for next winter is already cut so should be dry by autumn, the wrap would go on when the logs are already dry to keep them that way least that's the idea.

What about experimenting with debris netting tied on. It will allow some air through but keep the worst of rain out

Tried it on some sheds this year but the rain did get through onto the logs before the front row was cleared. Seems to work if there is a reasonable gap between the netting and the logs but when close it failed.

The set up I saw had 2 layers about 100mm apart and about 300mm from the wood
