car/van/chipper covered in fine layer of sap dust

hi does anyone have the remedy for removing the fine layer of sap/dust thats all over my truck and chipper i fancy cleaning them but so far it won't come off just feels like its covered in specs of it. I'm sure some one knows the trick? cheers H

I use the a washing up spunge/scrubber with traffic remover,

Ware gloves as it's pretty nasty

Not sure how many times I can do it till I get to base metal

Traffic film remover 25% -50% diluted with water wet down with hose then spray this on use car brush etc to work it in and rinse off bingo done

Defo TFR i spray the whole truck, chipper, van, etc with one of them pump up sprayers about a 50/50 mix leve 5 mins then just steam clean it off, works a treat and no scrubbing or hard work involved and motor comes up like new

Any tar removal product will shift sap also. If you really want a shiny truck, follow with ironX, a going over with a clay mitt and then a sealant or wax. The sealant or wax will protect the paint stopping dirt, including sap, from sticking as much in future as well as giving a nice shine.

Be careful with TFR, when I ran a tree company years back, I occasionally went in on a Saturday to wash and clean stuff ready for the lads to go off in on the Monday. One saturday I lined the chippers up outside, sprayed with TFR then got distracted by a phone call. Went back out and it had eaten through the lacquer and etch the powder coat. The lovely Ford Radiant red GreenMech was burnt orange! I could have wept....
