Mitsubishi t110 strimmer

Long shot but someone on here might know....

relatives strimmer has died, he's useless with machines, but sounds like gearhead is borked (suspect no grease for the last 8 years might have something to do with it).

 

Will fix it for him, but he lives a fair way away.....so...does anyone know how many splines a mitsubishi t110 gearhed has on the drive shaft end so I can find a replacement online?
