Sharpening stump grinder

Hi

I've lent a mates stump grinder and got a couple of sycamore stumps to do.

It's only a little stump grinder a Midlands power 13hp

It's more than painfully slow, so I had a look at some videos and even other small grinders seem to chew through bits loads quicker. The stumps are approx 12inch diameter.

It just doesn't seem to chip the wood away at any speed seems could do it as quick with the chain saw file.

Can I sharpen this sort of teeth or are they knackered ??

Tungston carbide cutters, they can be re faced with a green stone.

To be honest I have seen a lot worse than them. Is the engine running at full speed check throttle cable of slack?

How do you face them up are they ment to be flat? Or do they have a shape to them.

They look like they have been re-tipped in the past but they appear fine in the photo. are you somewhere near mid Norfolk, I could prob help. What type of wood are you cutting?
