same here but it will be the 8th week comming up been docs gave me a nasel spray 3 wks ago did nothing been again this wk and had 4 bottles of blood taken and sent to the hospital for chest xrays got letter of GP this morn can you please make a appointment to dissguse results ??? so what there going to tell me i dont know.

Apparently, when you've been coughing for a while, it becomes a habit. The wife had one similar. She ended up on a codeine suppressant to try and kick the coughing habit she'd formed. Worked in the end but took ages. There was also a bad virus kicking around NZ for a while last year with a long lasting cough after a cold.

Sorry to hear that you've been coughing mate all these different viruses around I've had the sort of symptoms that iam coming down with a cold for the last month feeling **** one minute then ok ,bloody rubbish it's always worse in the summer

My wife has asthma which sends her into coughing fits. It's really nasty. She's got lots of food allergies which kicks her asthma off. She has to be really strict with her diet to help combat it. The damp weather over here doesn't help either.

I feel for you mate.
